LS2s require a differ Truck coils, smart coils are larger. When choosing which LS coil brackets you’ll use, it’s important to note a few things. LS coils are either round or square. Generally speaking, LS2 & later coils provide more reliability and spark quality and are able to support longer dwell times than LS1 or LS6 coils. You’ll also find that the pinouts for harnesses, wiring and connectors are different for LS1/LS6 versus LS2 & later.
